The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Body-Worn Camera (BWC) Policy and Implementation Program (PIP) has awarded grants to several tribal communities across the United States from 2015 through 2022. Grantee departments have used the funds to purchase over 500 BWCs. This Infographic spotlights the experience of Gun Lake Tribe Public Safety Department, MI. The Gun Lake Tribal Public Safety Department has been granted authority to enforce laws and regulations set forth by the Match-E-Be-Nash-She Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians (Gun Lake Tribe) and the United States of America.
